A Regular Update - Art Showcase for Subclasses

Hello all,

Sarp here! I just wanted to drop by and give you guys an update on where we are on building Empires of the Silk Road. 

For writing material, we have already finished most of the mechanics part of the writing process; professions, subclasses, the caravan system and many more gameplay material is  now in internal playtest level. Soon, we will open up the voting for the extended list of subclasses and professions!

Our very first developer diary is out. It took us a bit longer than we anticipated as we were busy moving into a bigger office to house all our team members! Now that we are all settled in, we are going to pump out a lot of videos quite fast, including the Q&A.

Check Your Emails! City of Crescent PDFs and Alchemy Codes are Sent Out!

Hello everyone,

If you were expecting the PDF or the Alchemy Edition for Historica Arcanum: City of Crescent, we got  great news for you! We just sent the codes for all of those out through BackerKit. 

For the PDF:

Go to our website metismedia.net and add the PDF Version of City of Crescent to your cart. At the checkout, you can enter your code, and you will be able to redeem the PDF for free!

For the Alchemy Edition:

Go to AlchemyRPG, make an account if you don't have one, then head to the Marketplace. Click Redeem Code, at the top right, enter your personal code that you got from us, and you will have the City of Crescent added to your library.

Smoke Tests Are Out, Pledge Manager Will Open - Slight Adjustment to Shipping

Hello everyone, 

While our creative team is hard at work writing Empires of the Silk Road, our production team finished all the checks for our Pledge Manager and Pre-Order Store. 

We got approved by BackerKit today, and we are now sending out our Smoke Test. Around %10 of all the Backers will receive their surveys, and if everything is fine, we will send off all the surveys. 

A Teaser for the Herald of Rain

Q&A Video Dropping Soon

Our schedule ended up to be much, much more packed than we anticipated for our team these first weeks, so the videos were delayed. But, we finished the raw takes for Q&A and the video should be edited and be with you by the end of next week.

Adjustment to Shipping

As we unlocked almost over two hundred pages of content, we needed to adjust the shipping fees slightly to compensate for the increased weight of the books. Although the adjustment in almost all cases is less than %20 of the initial shipping costs we announced in our Kickstarter page, we wanted to let you know that this decision weighs heavy on us. 

We went as far as to subsidize some of the costs from the total funds, but this adjustment is required for a healthy budget for this project. Please know that we are not profitting at all from the shipping fees.

Hello all, 

We would love to thank you all from the very depths of our hearts! Not only are we fully funded, we broke all our stretch goals! We are truly grateful for all your love and support, and we fully commit to bringing you the best damn 5e supplement you have ever laid your eyes and hands on! 

What's on the Horizon

Now, the real fun stuff begins. We are now in full production mode - which means we are now able to post updates very frequently in form of video and text! Our first set of videos, including Q&A about Empires of the Silk Road is in editing table now.

We are also uploading monthly developer diaries on website. You can access them here!

Late Pledges & Pledge Manager

We are working on our Pledge Manager & Late Pledge Store at BackerKit. We are planning to launch it by the end of this week. There you will be able to add City of Crescent both as Hardcover and PDF, as well as the add-ons for Empires of the Silk Road!
